A straightforward 0.3 mile hiking trail with a scenic lookout point over the Caney Fork River. Located within Scott's Gulf Wilderness State Park.

Address: Welch’s Point Road, Sparta, Tennessee

*You will first come across Virgin Falls parking area. That is a strenuous 8.7  hike featuring multiple waterfalls, a cave and lookout points. It’s best to give yourself a few hours to explore both.

This is also within Scott's Gulf Wilderness State Park and includes other points of interest including Virgin Falls, Martha's Pretty Point, Laurel Falls and more. 

Virgin Falls Waterfall

A very easy hiking trail that is more like a path. This is a very scenic and remote spot. Highly recommend during any season because the view is amazing! Go here if you want to know what it's like to be an eagle perched on a bluff.
